GP-011 Identification
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to explain how and why members of the family are identified across the many government systems we are required to interact with.
Scope
This procedure applies to all members of the family, including pets, and is used to ensure that each member is correctly identified in the government systems so as to avoid any issues with identification, benefits, and services.
Procedure
The following identification documents are required for each family member:
- National ID: Each family member must have a National ID issued by the government. This is the primary form of identification and is used for most official purposes.
- Passport: For international travel, each family member must have a valid passport.
- Birth Certificate: Each family member must have a birth certificate to verify their identity and date of birth. This is especially important for children and newborns.
